Junglewala Team 

The Junglewala, Safaris and Escapes is conceived by Saurabh with his wife Nikita Bhatnagar. Saurabh, a dedicated media and marketing professional quit his more than two decade long wonderful career with renowned media corporates, to quench his thirst for wildlife, photography and travel. His unmatched synergy of working with corporates and his extensive wilderness travels helped him to work out well designed packages catering to the specialised needs of corporate groups. Junglewala offers end to end solutions to hard core wild lifers and photographers along with handling conferences, meetings, brain storming and team building sessions amidst wilderness.

Saurabh has spent over 30 years exploring and researching topography of Indian sub-continent. He has chronicled every minor detail of his travel experiences in Himalayas in an excellent series of travel books titled “Discover Himalayas on Wheels”, published by Jagran Prakashan Ltd. almost a decade ago. He also brought out a number of Coffee Table Books, City Tourist Guides with illustrations, maps, diary pages, and phrases under his leadership.

His recent work is published by JPL in form of a coffee table book on Simhastha -2016. Saurabh has been traveling and photographing the wonders of wilderness with his wife Nikita.She thrives in the development of refreshingly new safari programs and making the itineraries interesting. The duo enjoys their passion to travel and explore the lesser known trails, they simultaneously transmit their share of passion for wildlife and conservation to younger generations.

Chandra Prakash fondly called CP, has developed his interest in travel and wildlife and decided to spend his acquired experience of digital marketing, operations and logistics to strengthen Junglewala travel experience. CP is a widely traveled soul, born in Narsinghpur, a small town in Central Indian Highlands and spent most of his time in the lap of nature. CP had worked with renowned media houses and explored various geographies in the country, to his credit.

Rakesh Kumar Dubey, acting Wildlife Specialist, had spent more than 5 decades in the forests of Madhya Pradesh.
Rakesh has acquired the jungle craft from his father, who served as Chief Conservator of Forests in Madhya Pradesh, which he further polished for 39 years with Forest Department of Madhya Pradesh.
Rakesh has been exploring the geographies of the state and adding first hand knowledge to his treasure. He took voluntary retirement  from the post of DFO / Divisional Manager and now dedicating his experience to educate the enthusiasts and for the conservation of wildlife. Rakesh not only knows the forests of Madhya Pradesh like back of his hand but also boast his deep understanding of flora and fauna. His natural instincts powered by field knowledge made him choicest companion for birders. He can identify approximately 250 variety of Indian birds on their calls. Rakesh is one amongst the breed of foresters who actually breathes wilderness, which is near extinction.
Together with their wonderful team, they offer the highest level of expertise for arranging low-impact and personalized travel to entire Central India. They look forward to the continuing tradition of ‘’Safari of a Lifetime’’ !!!

Junglewala Approach

Every safari is a unique experience and we want your safari to be perfect…. for you. We won’t suggest a camp or a lodge to you until we get to know your wishes and requirements. And we won’t recommend until our specialists has been there, has walked with the staff, eaten the food and slept on the bed.

We travel every few months to revisit the old favorites and explore new properties. It is by spending time on the ground that we can be sure we are offering you the best advice.
Where possible, we will use small owner run camps and lodges that are ideally located so you can enjoy the wilderness off the beaten track. We also understand a guide can make or break the trip, hence we are very particular about basic requirements.
